In November when I went to the West Michigan Quilt Guild meeting, my mentor handed me a baby quilt top that would make a perfect top to practice quilting on. This top made me realize it is going to be a LONG while before I am willing to do any type of custom quilting on more than a practice piece or my own quilts. It doesn’t look too bad, but I am too much of a perfectionist to think it any better. I did the first three blocks of the quilt. I’ve decided I need a saddle stool to do this detail work. Standing for that long hanging over the quilt to do 3 squares is harsh on my back!
